How do they lay off people? Do they give you any advance notice? I just joined the bank 2 months ago and shocked to so many people let go.

I believe a few were let go in Richmond today?

Laid off this morning with a 8 week severance pay.

Was there an employment bloodletting at Bank of America today. Did it appear to be geriatric employment gynocide?

RIF going on all over - will be hard to know exactly which areas and individuals for a few days but know of some in Charlotte and Plano, TX.

Just saying - if this is an option for you you should look into it.

Layoffs happened in Asia as well. I was let go today in HK. Not much to say, just the management like those quiet and no common sense people around. I am outspoken and guess it is the fatal mistake.
