Who has signed up for the RTO Campus tours??? Also, the comments in the 'Future of work begins March 7' article are great. The one guy points out the purposefully deceitful ways of the EC. They stopped sending out the covid notices via email so... — read more
Notice period requirements?
Recently got promoted to H grade in Tech & Ops. Would 2-3 weeks be enough notice? I can't find anything saying otherwise but just want to be sure.
Who gives you the notice?
Is it usually the manager or HR?
Ok who is tractor boy? Clues please!
Obviously you can’t give real names but I think initials are fine or what department they run. Why tractor boy? Does he sound like he came from a farm? Please - don’t keep us in the dark about this elusive character.
Are they cutting our salary if we are approved to WFH after the RTO date?
Anybody know if we are somehow approved to remain on work from home after the RTO date if they are going to try to go the Google route of cutting your salary? If they are, do you know by how much percentage-wise?
Town Hall
Everyone ready for the big town hall????
Is anyone making 100k?
Just curious. I’ve been working for 8 years…recently hit the threshold for 100k here (i started out of college at a different company making 40). It’s been quite the ride over the past few years and thought 100k was a lot but with inflation and what... — read more

COBRA qualification question
I am a low level employee with 2 years at the bank. Will giving no notice of resigning jeopardize receiving COBRA?
Don't leave just for the sake of leaving
I know many people are ready to leave BNY Mellon but I'm worried that in their eagerness to leave they'll end up in the same or even worse position. Don't try to leave as quickly as you can. Instead, do your due diligence. Properly research the... — read more
Two years earlier
Two years earlier, my colleagues who are now very vocal against returning to the office, didn't want to work from home and complained about the energy costs of working from home. My conclusion is that people just have a hard time changing habits... — read more
Exemptions
Have any of you successfully received a medical or religious accommodation yet?
Dr-g Tests
Anyone else hired during the Pandemic and did not get dr-g tested. With the RTO coming up I am curious if they will do it to employees who have only worked from home and were hired during the Pandemic.
Cut to the bone, reality of Project Catalyst
Project Catalyst is intended to cut the tech workforce by 50%. Come June once their consultants have completed their analysis the axe will drop on under-performers or people who challenge the status quo. Senior tech leadership was desperately trying... — read more
Raises
When is the last day to convey your raise?
RTO: Help me to understand a few things
You are still allowed to work 3 out of the 5 days at home- that's still pretty good. They can REALLY monitor everyone to strictly work only 3 days a week? Isn't WFH better than calling off "sick" or something? What happens when another... — read more
RTO and early meetings
How do you guys handle 7/8am meetings when RTO? Should I be in the office by 6am to take these calls??

Commuter benefits are non-refundable when the axe falls
Just a heads up for anyone getting sh1tcanned, all commuter benefits are considered non-refundable and BNY closes your account and takes the money. Didn't see that footnote in the quarterly earnings. Stay classy BNY.

Trying to cover for former employees that have left
Here we all, more or less, now have to do the work of those who have left. However, do they understand that it is often impossible to cover for former employees that have left, because these people had more expertise? BNY Mellon doesn't seem to... — read more
Project Catalyst
Already 3 posts about WFH. Making sure to give them 5 stars since really the company would save millions right? No buildings to pay taxes on, upkeep, utilities, etc. What were they thinking of letting us give them efficiency ideas? LOL.
Yearly raises increase and bonus?
Can anyone please tell what increase if at all and bonus they are planning for this year?
Anyone planning on leaving the bank?
With everything going on I’m curious if there are folks out there who are beginning to look elsewhere for a job or are embracing the RTO.
No masks and no social distancing
Just heard from senior management that there will not be a mask or social distancing requirement when we return on March 7. No special seating arrangements either. Masks are only required when "in motion"
Bonus
Just curious… those who are bonus eligible, any word on which paycheck it will be in? I heard it was next month but that doesn’t line up with previous years.
It was very different when I first came here
I wouldn't agree with those who say that nothing has changed here for years. It is changing, but unfortunately, for the worse. I got a job here almost 12 years ago. I think it is almost impossible to compare this place with what it was a decade ago... — read more
Vaxxed is not enough... Booster needed too
Wonder how many more people will be offsite or gone. The percentage of un-boostered is much higher than un-vaxxed.
3rd shot is mandatory
This Just in! You have to have had 3 shots to go into the office! You have to be "up to date" which as Dr. Todd states per CDC includes a booster. is this the breaking point?
Why no peakon survey today?
last week they announced return to office, and this seems like the first monday we did not have a peakon survey sent out.

Cutoff date for mandatory vaccine?
If the unvaxxed are still able to work from home on March 7, I would think that at some point a mandatory Vax date will be announced.
