CS will be announcing that Walt will be stepping down and new CEO will take over from Jan 1st. This will be announced as part of q3 results disclosure next week.

SEC form 4 filed on 10/4 for transfer of shares on 10/2. Every one marked director. None of them work for Schwab anymore. Maybe given shares as part of their severance?
