Big news Friday afternoon apparently...
I heard that some comms are to come out tomorrow... anyone else with more information?
HR is the worse.
I’ve been around for a long time and Citi is not the only wrung in my employment ladder. As such, I can honestly say that Citi HR is probably the most worthless department that I’ve ever come across. I don’t mean worse HR department but rather... — read more

My productivity is a joke

So once someone hears of a raise, that means they're safe?
I've been seeing in this page that bonus doesn't guarantee since terminated employees will get bonus, but what about if they tell you your raise is this ____. Are you still not safe in the short term?
My Rating 3
I am hired into Citi and working in a project for past 2 years. After joining I got a rating 3. since I was new (within 6 months) I accepted the rating. I did lot of work for past 1 year and today I got the rating as 3. I am surprised. The project is... — read more
Separation Pay Question
Just curious how the Severance pay out works. I know that you receive two weeks of pay for every year you work with Citi (so 3 years would be 6 weeks of pay), and vacation time paid out is also clear because you just get the balance you have, paid... — read more
It's always about the stock price
People are losing their health stressing over what's coming as well as their livelihoods when they are laid off, but hey, the stock is going to soar! Let's remember what's really important in the grand scheme of things, right?... — read more
Playing games and dragging feet on severance and benefits. Don’t be afraid to talk to a lawyer.
I’m sure that some of the posts are true and that Citi is dragging their feet on paying out on severance or pending benefits. Hoping that frustration will cause a person to take just any job at a much lower wage or just drop it. Once a job is... — read more
I was JD’d in Oct
I was laid off in Oct. I was placed on a 60 day non-working notice. Its now Jan and I still haven’t received my severance. Citi is in really bad shape.

They'll make us wait
I'm convinced that instead of having layoffs in January, the leadership will make us wait to make sure more people quit. The fewer people are left to lay off, the more Citi saves in severance costs. And that means bigger bonuses for those at the top... — read more

Pay vs role is out of whack.
Does Citi have too many VP’s? Not really. In order to bring someone in OR to retain them, you have to give the a salary that equates to their role\skillset. In order to do that, you have to place them into the VP slot as that provides you the... — read more

Proper severance would reduce my anxiety significantly
Severance packages used to be much better, not just at Citi but overall. If you were laid off, you'd get a proper safety net that would help you land on your feet. Today, we get a week or two at the most per year with the company and that's it. No... — read more

Citi stock is up 14% since the announcement of layoffs.
