What are your arguments? I would most like it to be true that layoffs aren't around the corner, but you should not live in denial.

What's the point of Performance Improvement Plans at Dell?
General inkling is Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) result in a termination... but why even bother with these plans? Can you get severance at the end of a PIP when you're terminated? Any experience with this?
