Severance Reduction or Complete Removal of Severance

Hi fellow Dellionaires, Heard from a pretty good source that Dell is planning on reducing head count from 134,000 down to 100,000 over the next 2 years. Also heard that they may be drastically reducing severance packages, or eliminating them all... — read more

Sweeping RTO is a bullsh-t strat

I get it that they want to make some people come back. But I also see it’s completely inefficient the way they are going about it. What’s the point of bringing back the whole WFH teams that’ve been working like that for years? If someone performs... — read more

This post gets it.

It's not a "come to office or quit" mandate. Remote was offered to stem people quitting. It's comical. On one hand these same people are predicting massive layoffs every other week then the other hand is now switching to dell is too cheap to layoff. — read more

Not about reducing severance

I hear this argument and hate it for it's misinformation. It's not 2+2 math. Employees don't just up and quit thus saving severance. Good marketable employees take a few months to job hunt then quit. Bad employees take longer or just linger on... — read more

Negotiate raises/bonuses with RTO changes

With end-of-year evaluations coming up with your leaders soon, do they have any wiggle room to give you more than what they initially tell you your pay bump will be? If we’re moving to the office, can we leverage that as a point in our favor?

Most People Want Out?

I spoke candidly with 10 present and former teammates and 8/10 were actually let down that they weren’t laid off at the start of this quarter. Do you feel the same? I honestly just want to hear from others still here, if you were layed off would it... — read more

Going Remote

Quiet quitting on the rise amid tech layoffs Dissatisfied high-tech employees could once easily move to another company, usually with a higher salary and perks. But today’s poor job market means that most ‘quietly quit’... — read more

I keep hearing that the Inside Sales WFR will start this week. Anyone have any credible information about when it starts? Or is it on hold because of the 100% debacle?

Most are going remote

I suspect this will be to the chagrin of dell upper mangement. And the hybrids should be happy with this news. They will get a legup for face time and promotions. So why all the vitriol directed to remotes? Jealousy? Envy you don't have the... — read more

Who is downvoting legitimate questions

I notice that nearly all legit questions asked on this forum since the RTO announcement are getting downvoted to oblivion. Particularly the ones questioning the legality of Dells announcement. Is there a coordinated effort to silence us happening?
