When will the next round of layoffs be?

OK, Oracle had big layoffs, it looks all big tech is bracing for cuts. Walmart cut several hundred in IT, it looks like Verizon is cutting 10% of the consumer group. Banks are cutting left and right. So, what about DXC? When can we expect layoffs?

Mike's Sucessful?

The share price was $36 when Mike S took over and now its $25 with a further fall due to $20. Currently the decline is -45% so nearly half the company's value has been wiped off. If it falls to $20 it means it would need to rise by 80% to go back... — read more

What’s in the press today?

DXC spins off more businesses that they have no idea how to manage. Such losers…. Execs and Board should be fired.

The orchestra is playing on the Titanic

I used to work in finance here. We got constant calls from bill collectors, DXC owed money to and hadn’t paid. Their billing department used to gatekeeper invoices we owed to vendors. I felt so bad for them. There was a point where the main... — read more

What is up with CloudRight.

Seems like the "CloudRight" symphony has gone silent. Bagel seems to be full toasted and some senior guys have left. Seems like one step forward and three steps backward. What is happening with this company?

What many do not say

I think this is the company with the most pretenders who do almost nothing. At least compared to other companies I've worked for so far. What many do not mention when they tell you that the grass is much greener elsewhere and that the... — read more

Pay increase after leaving DXC

I guess DXC expects us to be satisfied simply with the fact that we have a job at all. Well, I'm not. How much of an increase did you get after you left this place? I have a friend and former colleague who got a 40% raise in another company, and... — read more

Greed destroys DXC

Looks like August 31st is going to be the last day for many old hands in the UK. Already seeing garden leave posts on LinkedIn from a few.. Not sure of the target numbers in this round though.

They deal with irrelevant things

Management constantly avoids topics that are of interest to us. They have become real experts in sweeping important things under the carpet. What do the hope to achieve with that? I guess they think that if they don't talk about an issue, the issue... — read more

Time to leave is NOW!

The inside scoop is that over 50% of (non-Indian) North American employees are to be laid off. Mike 2 will walk away with a lot of money, and leave a trail of American bodies. DXC is on its way to becoming an Indian body shop.

False promises

Those who still believe in their false promises are either too naive or fairly new to DXC. They do it all the time. I guess managers can't offer anything more than false promises? Perhaps it would be better if they didn't make any promises at all... — read more

People first joke

Does anybody recall Mike S saying he has a "people first strategy" on last year's earnings call. So far from the truth. What a joke his making of the staff. "People last" would be the actual truth.
