Ford SpeakUp

Ford SpeakUp - HR is not your friend but how does Ford actually use this tool? Any good/bad experiences?

Farley concerned WITH THE WRONG ISSUE

“Farley: Rivals 'ahead of us' on diversity” Customers: Rivals ahead of Ford on QUALITY. Fix this misplaced concern, and we might fix the recall cost issue.

Lincoln: we made it to #10!

From Consumer Reports: The top five brands are Toyota, Lexus, BMW, Mazda and Honda. Lincoln moved up 14 spots to No. 10. Ford placed at No. 18, down four spots from last year. Sad, this is the best Ford Motor Company can do after over 100 years of... — read more

The Elephant in The Room

There's a big problem in the auto industry that isn't talked about enough... The residual values of their cars are very important to the huge financing departments of auto OEMs... For example, GM and Ford have financing debts of $94 billion and $118... — read more

LL5 indicating layoffs comming

Ford is all in on EV's so they need to get rid of a massive amount of employees in ICE associated groups. Don't spend money on what you don't need.

Taste of their own medicine

How about we rank our leaders like they rank us. And their salary is based on the ranking we give them. And when headcount reduction time comes, we know who to get rid of.

Bonus info

I heard bonus is now based on profit based on what group you are in. Ford blue will get most if not all bonus as the profit source. Model e will not get bonus and may owe as they do not provide profit and have a loss for profit.

Poor performers

Managers & supervisors are tasked with giving out "poor performers" to x amount of people. I doubt there's any poor performers even around anymore. However, they will continue to require an x amount of "poor performers" until they meet their desired... — read more

Who has that kind of time to waste!

Regardless of how you feel regarding Ford EV's being green, infrastructure not in place, the cost, etc. Who the he-l has time to continually charge these beasts? All the chargers are on the back of parking lots...that should be fun on a 1 foot snow... — read more

No US Bev tax incentives on ford bevs

Ford should be required to staff us engineers to design and use our great uaw partners in US assembly plants to build bevs which qualify for tax incentives and not employ this outside the US

Leadership have no clue

Here is my point of view. BEVs are not the solution for any of the problems we face today. I am not going to talk about how these vehicles are NOT green, not about the lack of capacity in our electrical grids, nor about the absence of a charging... — read more

Why?

Why would a LL6 approve a GSR’s reduction in hours and then after the GSR worked part time for 2 months, the manager became angry and forced the GSR out of a job? Makes no sense. Then why did the LL6 approve this in the first place?

1 more drip from the leak

I'll let the article speak for itself. "number of Ford Police Interceptor Utility orders have also reportedly been cancelled lately with no explanation, causing issues for police departments across the country. "

Union vs Layoffs?

Are our union colleagues safe during these ongoing layoffs? I always wonder how the UAW is doing during election time each year. All my union friends are hard Rs - but conservative politicians tend to be opposed to unions (excluding Police unions)... — read more

Who Landed & Who Is Still Looking?

Isn't that a bit of an exaggeration?

I don't believe it either that Ford has a bright future or that the company will experience its golden ages again. However, to say that the company is heading for bankruptcy in a few years (as some do), isn't that a bit of an exaggeration?

Don't drink the BF Kool-Aid

Not charitable? Same company that has the reputation for appropriating patent technology and getting sued. Bet a dozen doughnuts that the conversation sounded like "I need some Phoebe press, you won't get the Ford business unless you build in... — read more

THE WRITING'S ON THE WALL

Anyone with any CAD history of seeing what is happening at Ford can't be blind to what the facts are. In the past 10 to 15 years any CAD guy that retired, died or just plain left the company was never replaced. 90% of the CAD work went to suppliers... — read more

Severance- Employee requested

Few weeks ago, I heard low performers can get severance. Has anyone that tried leaving to another company ask for severance and got one?

Ouch, another recall. Quality Czar will be busy!

PEP for managers

There should be a mechanism to address the manager leadership vacuum. Many are simply not doing their jobs and are unqualified to have people responsibilities. In 2007, Ford had a headcount reduction phase where they walked out only managers. It was... — read more

Lump Sum goes into 401K?

NESC said the lump sum pension goes into 401K today. Why can’t they move it straight into Rollover IRA??? What about the contributory after tax? That should go to a post tax account not a pretax 401K. Plus the 401K takes an extra 30 days to start the... — read more

The discouragement of stellar performers continues

It's rapidly getting worse here. Now that we have once again seen how the company "rewards" underperforming, does it even make sense to try to have a great performance here? How much are the best employees rewarded for their great performance?

Profits from subscription plans…

So, AOC isn't willing to pay $8 per month for Twitter, what can Ford get for subscriptions paid to the Ford billionaires? “Lmao at a billionaire earnestly trying to sell people on the idea that “free speech” is actually a $8/mo subscription plan”
