Train station

No one cares about the train station restoration. Now, Notre Dame, that's worth talking about! What a magnificent building!

Ford culture

Ford once had a great culture, but what happened? How did we go from being a company people were proud of to this toxic environment that everyone seems desperate to escape? It’s hard to believe we’ve ended up here, and even harder to understand how... — read more

Why tariffs will not help Ford

Yeah, what about all the parts Ford imports to build their cars? They’ll cost more. What about the cars Ford builds in other countries? They’ll cost more. Tariffs are supposed to work by making imported goods cost more so that consumers will buy... — read more

Accountability

When people like x and y and z corrupt our capacity to care for one another, then we lose our accountability. We blame and su---r punch rather than being responsible to those around us. Starting with those in our lives. Full stop on being accountable... — read more

Time For A Change

These are the CEO's during my career. Only one on this list I wish we could get back, Alan Mually. Been a full on train wreck since...maybe we can turn back time to get Joe Hinrichs to rejoin before its too late. Harold Poling (1990–1993) Alex... — read more

Huge re-org in ADAS not looking so good

Pretty much what the title says. People are being shuffle like cards on a deck across department. It's almost like they are separating people out so it will be helpful to cut entire teams at some point. Any other dept seeing this

Ford is #19!!! Lincoln is #24!!!

Thanks, Farley, for all the effort you’ve put in since 2009 to make this (AND declining market share) to happen! From the Detroit Snooze: Detroit Three trail Asian rivals in new Consumer Reports reliability study The Detroit Three automakers were... — read more

Layoff game has changed.

90 plus laid off in IT coming in Jan, outsourced to India. Lots targeted for separation based on reviews. Likely after EOY reviews. Know some people targeted and waiting now Ford will now target numbers in a smart way throughout the year. Because... — read more

Are those incentives over?

Remember a few years ago when they paid people to quit (2021 I think) or another year they offered to opt out of the PIP process and take severance? I'm wondering if they'll do that again or they're just planning to do layoffs. The company is not in... — read more

Ford Single Handedly Destroyed the EV Market

Everyone thought EV’s were cool because of Tesla. Then, Ford came in and made a joke of the EV industry. The Mach E (mockery) and the Lightening. Just trash. Low quality, too expensive. A joke. Everyone hates EVs now and Ford. BF and JF gotta go... — read more

New Ford Puma EV

This is another reason why Ford failed to provide what the consumers want. Who in their right mind would design a new vehicle that look this ugly, outdated, and expensive. OMG. I see another failure coming to... — read more

For the complainers

For those who think there are too many negative posts here, go ahead and post positive things about working at Ford right now. Please. I'll wait.

Failed ev mandates will be rolled back

With the incoming trump administration the failed ev mandates would be rolled back. Finally the abusers of that mandate (you know who it is)who outsourced jobs in the name of evs will payback.

Rising through ignorance

It's amazing how the least skilled and least informed seem to rise to the top. The success formula at Ford is baffling. It’s almost funny, except it’s more depressing than anything.
