Support to be replaced.

The plan is to use AI to start small by replacing a potion of support (Server, Azure etc..). Once bugs and workflow are vetted after a year or so, let it take over more and more work in support, which of course means letting people go.

Did you get laid off and the WARN ACT

The WARN Act requires an employer to notify employees, in writing, 60 days before a layoff, and pay the employee for those 60 days, in addition to any severance the employee may be entitled to. Unfortunately, some employers attempt to circumvent the... — read more

Incomprehensible criteria

Once the damage is done, it is difficult to repair it. It will never be clear to me why some of the most knowledgeable employees got laid off, while some others, who in essence are not needed at all because they do not add any value, are still... — read more

Time to get rid of weakest performers

The question though is whether they will be targeting only the bad performers or if they will be laying off many of those who don't deserve to be cut, therefore causing a huge damage to the company?

We have been prepared for this for a long time

Recently there have been many indications that there will be layoffs. Also during COVID, when many new hires were added, one could already assume that one day there will be massive layoffs. I don't notice much concern among my colleagues, it... — read more
