I wonder if all the people who can be seen raving about NCR’s Employee first culture think this will save them from getting laid off 😂 NCR does not give a sh-t about you. You will get laid off here when it’s time.

Is this even legal?

I am convinced this company does not care about anyones work life balance. The person we report to listens to us but then does the opposite so it’s pretty much all talk and no action. Our leadership cares about calls and doesn’t care how many hours... — read more

This week's layoffs

Is there any way to know how many were laid off this week, in total? We seem to be in a never-ending cycle of layoffs and it's truly starting to take a toll on my health, both mental and physical. What's the end goal here? To move ALL operations to... — read more

Exhausting work/life imbalance

Even if I had more job security here, even if I was paid better and the manager was a person who knew what unrealistic expectations are - I would still be urgently looking for a way out of here. The reason is that work/life balance is... — read more

Employees bashing NCR on LI after quitting

I have noticed this lately employees who quit or laid off are bashing NCR on Linkedin… this was long time coming considering the way employees are treated here. You reap what u sow!

Wearing multiple hats

If I could find a better job, I would immediately give notice and never look back on this place. Only those who cannot get anything better are still here. NCR knows this very well and exploits people's fear of losing their jobs. Is there anyone... — read more

What will be left of NCR in the US?

Considering the excessive outsourcing, it seems that not much will remain here. Someone said that only "limited remote staff" will remain, and I'm afraid that's exactly what will happen.

Lay offs happening today

Please comment if you were let go today. I know at least 5 people that i used to work with were let go today in US.

It's a bit strange

I know this is not a popular opinion, however... I really don't understand why those who say they work the bare minimum and spend most of their time updating their resumes, later get angry at the company's decision to outsource the workforce. Isn't... — read more

Employees are Quiet quitting

Never knew this was a thing but apparently ever other person i have spoken to lately is ,quiet quitting’ they do not give a damn anymore about their jobs or performance. If your business unit head sends an email stating that things are not going to... — read more

Justify your job reports

Now that I have been gone a while I feel like like I can ask this. Did anyone else feel like the monthly performance reviews felt more like an interrogation where you had to explain why you shouldn't lose your job?

The split into two independent companies

The news of the plan to separate NCR into two companies removed any dilemma as to whether I should leave here. I immediately sent as many applications as possible. Anyone have a positive opinion on this? I think chaos will follow.

Why are you still here?

You have exactly zero reasons to stay at NCR unless you want to. There are still plenty of available jobs that pay really well. I got a 20 percent raise a month ago when I switched jobs and I know I'm not the only one. Take advantage of this!... — read more

Y’all still here

Wow I would of thought most if not all woulda left by now. Or they woulda been sold. All I can say in 2022 is every complaint here the past two years has been the same complaints since the 90s. Nothing is gonna change that will be a good change for... — read more

There are plenty of people who deserve to be cut

Half of the upper management does nothing useful, but somehow they're always safe and we end up losing great employees instead. I wish for once the company would cut people who play with PowerPoint the whole day and contribute the least. Not that it... — read more

All good employees are leaving…

Lots of talk, no real action

The management simply doesn't walk their talk. Are you sick of their empty promises? Why these constant promises that it will get better when we all know that the chance of that happening is minimal?

Bought by Veritas Capital

WSJ reporting that Veritas capital (private equity firm) has agreed to buy out NCR. What does it mean for current employees? Are we about to get the boot if deal does go through?

What's the average pay in Serbia?

Brace yourself for recession layoffs..

Happiness is..... leaving NCR

Layoffs are imminent

Started working on my resume already. Recession is on the horizon and strategic review will result in at least 15-20% workforce cut.

How far are we from layoffs?

I always hope for the best, but I try to prepare for the worst. What do you think how far we are from the cuts?
