I’ve never made more mistakes than I have lately. Fortunately, they are small errors that I notice immediately and that can quickly be corrected, but all the same, it never happened that much before. Decline in motivation, stress, work overload... all these are to blame. Mistakes are to be expected in an atmosphere like this. Does it happen to you too?

Yes and I can’t even focus properly on my movie watching during wfh
I DO make more mistakes now than I used to, which are due to the fact that the requirements for doing my job have increased: a) in complexity, and b) in sheer volume due to loss of staff members in my group that were not replaced. Let me also state that owing to the above, I do not CARE that I am making more mistakes. About three years ago when there was a meeting of all teams under the umbrella ruled by our Chiefs on the org chart about 4 slots above us all, the message imparted to by this person was that with regards to our positions we would all now be required to "Do more, for less" (that's a verbatim quote). Well, I decided to make a slight adjustment to that mantra, and I have decided I am perfectly content with "Doing more...Less well." I'm actually looking forward to whenever I have a future one-on-one with my supervisor and am told that my work is Below Expectations so I have a chance to respond that I don't consider them to below mine.
@pfk, you should be promoted.
You are just what BNY wants!
Colleagues of mine and myself recognise this. The job was designed to be collaborative, many hand off, teams physically located to be able to communicate and share advice quickly. That's all gone but the job requirements and volumes haven't, so yes many more mistakes noted. We are not allowed to mention WFH factors in error write ups. Also, about 25percent of the teams are staff hired since WFH began, their job knowledge/contribution is so behind the curve as a result.
@edt+1a64DwHy. reconise, occured...what fire?
@bri+1a64DwHy, you sound like a pompous a*s. Not a good look and definitely cringe worthy.
My work is subpar as I am being asked to do the work of 3 people
Be careful, you could find yourself the subject of a witch hunt
I don’t make mistakes. That is why you will be laid off and I won’t.
