LO was the worst. I was in a highly specialized discipline, and during a senior staff meeting he had the nerve to say that he'd rather have 20-something know-nothings right out of college than seasoned Subject Matter Experts who were well known within the banking industry for their expertise. I left soon after that and have been deliriously happy ever since. What kind of Ops Manager insults the knowledge and expertise of one of this high performers in public? People I know from Wells complain to me about him almost daily - they say the same thing. He's threatened by anyone with an iota of knowlege.

So glad someone else said this too! The Head of Ops role has been a revolving door for.....8 years? Has the Board asked why? I know the Customers have, though they just got the latest shiny pitch decks. While most are the traditional "bank robbers" who come into a new bank, smash and grab what the can, and then head off to their next bank. But there were some "lifers" who were run off too. It's not rocket science to figure out why the company is struggling and revenue is so far down. The EC cannot make a decision and stick to it. Just use the Ops and Tech merge as an example. Any idea how much time and money was spent on that merge? And for what? So a few years later some can realize they made the wrong decision so now let's undo all of that work. The same pattern is repeated over and over again. Operations staff are struggling and barely able to stay above water, they are so understaffed. I'm shocked BlackRock, Prudential, T Rowe Price and others have stuck around this long.

Alejandro is the second coming of Charlie. No more work from home….that the message coming soon. Let’s make sure we never attract younger talent by holding on to the bullsh-t line of collaboration in the office.
