I was contacted via Linkedin for a Senior Finance Advisor - Renewables position at Shell. Does anyone know if this is a good position and the salary range? Thank you in advance.

It sure is nice to see the shoe on the other foot lol! Don’t get me wrong this situation stinks for all of us involved but I find it funny seeing the TLs getting a dose of what they dished out during Avanti!

So Shell let go a bunch of CR positions not long ago, but now is hiring external for a CR position in Canada. I thought Avanti had it all sorted out.

Anyone else listening to this garbage?

Are there any assumptions as to how many people will get laid off as a result of consolidation? For me, move to Midland is not an acceptable option.

Having the office staff move to Midland is BS. It’s a great layoff strategy between Shell and COP so no one has to pay severance.

What a strange document! The first line should have said - all impacted employees can apply for voluntary severance. Does Conoco really want hostile employees transferred? They should do wink-wink nudge-nudge and not take those who don't want... — read more
