A class action suit filed this month claims Whole Foods violates its employees privacy rights by requiring them to use a biometric time-clock and scan their fingerprints when they start and finish their shifts.

Biometric devices for security and time keeping are not unusual. Even for payment. Not sure if there is merit in this law suit.

The entire Dallas school district and its 20,000 teachers use the “thumb-in” clock every day and have for at least 10 years now. I’ve never felt that my privacy was violated...
