E-mails and Town Halls

Anyone else suspicious about all the ‘rah rah’ e-mails that have been sent out since Friday and upcoming town halls/all hands meetings? Is there some iceberg in the water that our inept captain was steering us towards? God only knows how much CS did that hasn’t personally effected us yet.

No, I don’t think there is an immanent iceberg we are at risk of hitting. Rather management is concerned that they need to calm employees down after a CEO that was portrayed as being the savior left after 1.7 years. To me seems like they know they look like fools and are trying to control the narrative.

Also, TG, since he has been here 30 years, will want to put his best foot forward. Be sure to note if or how much he pins on his predecessor.

Finally, I hope that TG uses the line, “if you don’t like cuts, you’ll like irrelevance even less.” That was one of my favs From CS.

The last few years we have been subjected to Charlie's belittlement and negativity in his town halls etc so much so that he had a wall up never being able to connect with the employees. His town halls always felt like he was a parent berating his kids rather than sensible adults. Perhaps Todd might be trying to change that but we'll have to wait and see
