Stack ranking is occurring. I smell a move to servicing for the lower ranked. Then layoffs beginning of Q1

Everyone in the mortgage industry contributed to the crisis. And to the holier than now BAC crowd the bank wrote off more on the BAC Heloc portfolio than they did on CHL. Geoffrey Greener has said that more than once

A lot of home loans division, so-called, used to be Countrywide, that played a major role in causing the last one. That org has gradually become dispersed with new names.

I just opened up a HELOC. So far it's going smoothly. Should close in a week or two.
