In front of congress In April 2019, the CEO stated “We continue to make diversity a priority....Diversity goals are also a factor by which we measure the performance and compensation or each of our committee members”.
The prior year, remarkably, employees not helping those managers get that compensation began to receive BE reviews, which has continued to this year.
Watch and see what happens 2021.
Are you serious @9bkp+184yYB1w. Are you one of Charlie's relatives???? You can not be serious, on what he has done. Its beyond being not right!!! Also, business media, you need to quite giving Jamie Diamond and Charlie, Jamie's pal, a pass. Look what they've done. It is not good.
I’m appalled, shocked and sadden, that someone could express this view, but not surprised. There is almost a complete lack of awareness now, of what’s right, what’s proper, what’s bad and what is good. How someone making 10s of millions of dollars per year, could bail on their colleagues, without even an email saying so long, in my value system, is anything but unimaginable. Please Board of Directors, do a better Job of picking people. We look to these as leaders. They have not been. They have been brazen opportunists.
Charlie did’t even say good bye BECAUSE he is a gentlemen with class and dignity.
Nobody knows, least of all the journalist who posts the question. Why not do your job, investigate and let us know?
what makes you say that? should analysts be as worried as managers? im assuuming it is just 'spans and layers' clean up?
If your’s or your direct reporting manager’s reporting structure recently changed, then it’s time to update your resume.
Charlie is a smart guy, he knows his worth.
Ol Charlie Boy is doing a "bang up job" at WF, he has been cutting FTE since Aug. Morale here is now what I remember it being when I was at BNYM. I haven't cried in the bathroom yet though...
Charlie knew after the Work From Home debacle that no one would care that he left and no one would sing his praises on MySource, so he just disappeared. Probably the smartest move of his tenure.
Oh and how bad does his Work From Home excuses look now in the wake of COVID? Wonder how he would've justified things if he was still at BNY,
This is really on the Board of Directors. They have done a BE job. How about Charlie making tens (10s) of millions of dollars, staying two (2) years, and leaving without even saying goodbye! Please do your job Board!
It’s gonna be a blood bath. I have a staff of 11 and was asked for 3 names. And I am probably #4
It will be a blood bath come Q1.
Departments are doing “time study’s” to see how days are spent. That means a pencil pusher upstairs will be axing positions and those left will just have more work to do.
