This seems to be the case for me. I received a “ME” and yet no bonus! Could legal action be taken?

Has anyone actually analyzed their OWBPA report? There doesn't seem to be an obvious disproportionate number of old people affected when I eyeball it.

“We just heard”.... so “they” say there is no discrimination, yet anyone working in the company for the last two years may differ with what “they” announce.... especially the former CEO hightailing it to New Hampshire to get away from NYC summer of 2020... extended family in tow.

We just heard that there is no discrimination for all sorts of reasons, including age. So if there is to be diversity, shouldn't there be age diversity too?

You would not sign yet if you are looking into legal action...
BNYMELLON has been transparent that their executive committee is compensated for increasing the percentage of diversity under them. It is to their advantage to remove older non-diverse employees...

If you are bonus eligible, with a ME, and the firm tries to “you know what” you there’s no recourse.
You have agreed and there is nothing you can do.
If not bonus eligible than no harm in signing.
