BNYM worries more about pocketing money. Sorry, but India was not the best solution. I’m not knocking any of them personally because it’s not their fault, but They are handling enhancements for processes they’ve never done so they have no clue what they are doing and don’t get me started on the inability to do a simple password reset. Everything my team has been forced to send offshore has been a night mare. Nothing is done correctly, we have to clean up the messes made and babysit to make sure work even gets done. With the amount of time it takes to do all this , we could’ve done the sh-t ourshelves. What a joke

Yes. Everything that gets offshored to India becomes a giant clusterf**k in the first place. The COVID situation put it on steroids. What a company.

Not quite related but nothing gets built in India without paying off people. And yet we have all kinds of training forbidding any kind of unethical business dealings, dealing with politically exposed people etc.

Yes, and not just US operations but global operations dependent on offshoring.

I've raised concerns since the start of enforced WFH, its not just about poor Internet connections, its about the virus itself, its about their home circumstances, its about the lack of good English/ lack of confidence on English for some slowing communication and production, it's about the extreme weather that can affect power supplies and it's about the punishment culture the staff work under and the culture of their Management to claim that everything is good no matter what the truth.

And BNYM ignores the situation, piles on the work to India and all sites. The only responses I got from raising concerns were to be told that additional battery packs were being issued to ensure staff could stay only when local power was down and to be quoted absentee figures.

What a caring company
