Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Is anyone left to turn off the lights?

I’m not sure there will be any employees left if we were to return to the office. Between layoffs and people quitting as they were told they probably don’t have jobs going forward, long term office leases will be paid for empty office space. It’s as if the firm disappeared like a fa-t in the wind. Is anyone left in charge?

No need for anyone to shut the lights off. They are smart and shut themselves off

@2tja+1aWbNdOY, YOU should be ashamed of YOURSELF. I've seen plenty of communities ruined with industrial wind turbines and thousand acre lithium solar complexes forced upon them. They're FORCED to pay taxes to subsidize the foreign corporations putting these monstrosities in their front yards. And little old ladies on fixed incomes have to pay surcharges on the electric bills to pay for the lines going to them.

@2hur+1aWbNdOY - you should be ashamed of your narrow minded 'woke leader' and renewable energy comments. You're what's wrong with corporate america today. We don't need narrow minded waspy types like you.

And it will cost us double because our woke leaders are paying extra for "renewable energy." Sure miss the good ole days when our leaders at least had a backbone.

There are 2 new additions in the Board of Directors and we don't know what these knuckleheads would do differently than others in the Board.
