Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Drama

This drama of lay-off will continue unless changes brought to HR department. Lay off all HR and find some great HR who knows how to look for great candidate. They gather rubbish and cost thousands for the company. These HR started listening to the bogus managers and retain only rubbish and lay-off good ones.

I thought HR is dead and you have to raise all your queries in HR tool My HR and get an anonymous response . So they are done with those touchy feely stuffs don't have anyone to talk to just be a brainless bot to reach out to HR.

HR can't even do the layoffs right. They could EASILY let people know when it's coming, how many are affected and meet with everyone to notify them if they're affected. This would do way more for employee morale than their stupid employee appreciation events and other touchy feely games they waste money on. People tend to hate change but they hate the unknown WAY more.
This would have been done years ago if we hired HR leaders based on merit instead of trying to meet meet our diversity goals.
