Truth be told, DevOps is being replaced by Robots. Good luck, no one is going to hire if anyone claims that they worked as DevOps guy at BNYM.

Everyone with a brain knows that normal companies don't have developers deploying code much less doing it manually. And they don't have developers doing regression testing, production support, weekend wellness tests, DR exercises, requesting load balancers, etc, etc.
Anyone who thinks DevOps at BNY is some kind of cutting edge endeavor pushing the boundaries of technical excellence... Here's a reality check. BNY is at best 10 years behind every other company outside of the financial industry. Anyone defending BNY is still there for a reason... you're the bottom of the barrel. You cannot find work anywhere else because you aren't qualified. The Dunning-Kruger effect prevents you from realizing this.

Devops is a process around software development and TECHNOLOGY operations. Robots are not going to be developing systems for BK and they won't be getting approvals and deploying code. We've been working toward that at BK and have made great progress toward consistent infrastructure and automated build processes.
AI and machine learning have already affected our BUSINESS operations and likely will even more in the future.
This is so ignorant not knowing what robots does, that’s why ^ it says don’t say you worked as DevOps at BNYM. No one will hire. I feel bad for ruining ppl understanding of technology at BNYM. Those are let go feel lucky.
