Back to the Office

Within minutes of Todd’s email today with regards to the back to office plan, I was flooded with inquires as to I want to stay home, how do we make that happen.. this is going to be another colossal misstep by Senior Mgmt and HR pushing this down to the manger level. I can’t wait for the infighting in the asylum to begin.

Who tf wants to go back in office. I love not hearing the printers or mo--ns with no inside voice. I do however agree that some of these id--ts shouldn’t be allowed to work from home because they clearly do other sh-t cause they don’t produce work or answer questions in the chats for long periods of time. I love not commuting either . We don’t need to sit on top of each other. I don’t know where half you d bags have been and don’t want your funk. And as for Syracuse, guess what nobody cares about your commute. Everyone in Oriskany had to move their damn desks for you as-----s just like for testing that you didn’t show up too. You as-----s better show up after all that

@3ktp+1bnpN3vF, speak for yourself you don't know what everyone else is doing. You must be one of those k**s%ss managers. There are so many micro-managers who spend their time trying to sabotage their team members job just to make themselves look good to management.

@3qfq+1bnpN3vF I'm sure the smell of the mens room once I get back to 14 or 15 will remind me of the old days very quickly.

I'm sure there are a few few that are lazy, but that's the exceptions. The real issues isn't back to the office, it's back the BNYM office. You will be reminded of how bad it really is.

People are basically dishonest. You KNOW many goof off every single day. Working from home is total b.s. If your commute is too long, find a job closer to your home. People move way out from the cities to save money on taxes.

You mean the people who sold their appreciated house in this hot market to move farther out to cheaper housing because they are getting 0% raises year after year with a bonus of $500 if they are lucky? The ones who actually know how our systems work?

@2obi Wrong. The department I'm in has proved over the last 15 months we can do 100% of our work WFH at the same level as in office. And my primary reason for wanting to stay WFH is to avoid the commuting, which wastes anywhere from 5 to 10 hours of my life every week.

@2bsn, the only real reason you don't want to come back to the office is because you want to goof off at home. No more excuses about it not being safe. There are none.
My advice is fid a job closer to home or find a stay at home job. Either way, you're going back in so time to deal with it. Yay!!!

Hey 2zyz abd 2znu...have either of you ever considered the possibility that a lot of people don't want to return the office just so they can avoid associating with a-holes like you?

I cannot believe how lazy folks are. If you want a stay at home job, go find one. This was only temporary. Back to the office or quit.

Why is everyone mad that they have to go back? It was never a permanent solution to work at home. Go get a job somewhere else... you all are mad that you can’t sit home and watch tv all day anymore. Lazy complainers.

Going back into the office will be another family adjustment for me. Managements don't care about your life or your family; you just need to make money for them.

A disaster in the making. Employees were expecting a hybrid plan, and now they’re saying it could be four days a week. They just have to keep micromanaging every aspect of your day. We’ve already told our boss all that overtime we’ve been doing goes away when we go back in to the office. Nobody wants to go back into the office especially for four days a week.
In Oriskany, our average commute is about 25-30 minutes one way, and now with people from Syracuse being combined into our office…ugh!!!

Good luck to the people that move un-commutable distances from the office. Start looking now.
