Has anyone realized that finding another company with similar benefits and salary is very difficult? I’ve gotten three offers in the past four months and turned all of them down because the PTO, 401k and salary just couldn’t compare. Two of these companies were global corporations too.

I did not find that to be true, was offered 40% more and 16 more days of PTO, there are better places out there.
Went on one interview and was offered a 30% pay increase, better bonus, same PTO. Needless to say I am no longer a BNYM employee. Putting my resignation in was exhilarating. It also would've taken me 20 years of pathetic bnym raises to get to my new current salary.
BS. I just left after 19 years for a 20% pay hike, better retirement benefits, and comparable PTO. Everyone I know that left has told me how happy they are now and how much they didn’t realize how bad BK really was until after they were gone. Count me among the newest part of the crowd.
UK employee here. Taking two steps back in terms of position but will be earning same as I was at BNYM. Happy days.
BNYM pension/ 401k is good but it doesn't pay tomorrows rent and I already have a very decent retirement fund saved so I want to choose how I spend my earnings.
BNYM pay is well below market. 401(k) is solid and the share purchase plan is a nice perk. But yea, the raises, salaries and bonuses just do not compare.
after getting laid off in 2019 . I got 15 percent hike and thought it cannot go beyond this . 4 months back i joined remote position which is 15% further more with full 100% insurance . Market is so good . there is always some offer wither better pay.
What a joke! Company that work now is 100 times better on everything’, I would never ever go back to BNYM again. Big NAH!!! Nothing matches, classless hungry ghosts.
There are so many companies that offer equivalent or better benefits, but it may depend on your location.
The grass isn't always greener on the other side, that's for sure. Take stock of the positives while you are here.
BNYM offers a decent 401k, but it's offset by the abysmal bonuses and raises. It's a decent place to work in if you're an underperformer and just want to coast.
I find the opposite to be true.
Hey, at least you're getting offers. Care to trade places?
I meant offers not offees :)
