All this talk of delays in returning to the office is one big agony that has been going on for too long. I would prefer to work from home forever, but if I had to choose between definitely returning to the office or having to think all the time whether RTO will be delayed and for how long, I would rather choose to return to the office. The anticipation of what will happen just keeps you anxious and on the edge, so that's probably the worst option of all?

"This is one great agony"
- Wow.. dramatic?
"It’s similar to the agonizing BOA layoffs to have taken place annually since The Great Recession."
- The Great Recession? Which of the 24 since 1900 are you referring to?
We are all nothing but a number in the end to the company.
- - Hate to break it to ya, but this isn't new. You're not special, I'm not special, no one is. It's easy. You can work to benefit yourself & family or you can be a burden to society. You have a job / career, be thankful.
The right thing to do would be to delay indefinitely. I mean damn this is ridiculous.
That was always the constant nag in the back of my head and it was WAY worse than having a clear plan to RTO
Agree. This is just plain out sad. Risking us and our families. Of course nothing happens to the higher ups because they are nice and cozy in their offices with the door shut. Nothing has even been done at the location I am at to protect us and our building is so ghetto. They claim that we thrive when we are together but our numbers and statistics prove differently. I have never been in the best mental and physical health like I am now. And I owe it all to WFH. I dont have to listen to all the work drama and now I can actually do my job by focusing on my JOB. Sending us back prematurely is just a bad business and ethical decision.
