Kronos is a source of frustration more than anything else. Isn't it high time we got rid of it? Is there any way we can get rid of that garbage?

If you have yet to detect any of the skimming devices then you r probably not looking hard enough or simply just don't know how to. And I am not the "executive" with the 24/7/365 post nasal drip either...not that that narrows anything down.
CVS was hacked in June 2021.
KRONOS isn't the only app not working. CVS caremark isn't working.
How is our personal information being protected????,
Career leadership here. I am close personal friends with the golf pro at my country club... seeing him more than my partner...and they use Kronos. Granted they only have 3 employees but I can 100% guarantee that they love and swear by Kronos. If they love it so much because it works then we can too without all the politics. Hasn't each region already purified their ranks anyway? We are good. Amazon isn't going to take this $13 billion write off untill next quarter at least...this one was too good :)!
Listen, I am probably the number one Kronos hater but oddly Sunday Monday clopens are flagged by Kronos and those are likely human error. One thing Kronos hasn't done to me yet BUT that is probably highly dependent on how many TM's your team has.
For example there are literally whole teams with 3 or 4 TMs. Kronos will literally pull a "DOES NOT COMPUTE!" and po-p out whatever nonsense schedule. Whole Foods is like "Of course having a 3 person team makes total sense because no one ever misses a shift or goes on vacation or gets sick! If they do that's why all of our store leadership knows how to write orders, oh wait, they don't? Good thing we have a automatic program that already does that, oh wait, they don't know how to even make that work either?"
i like the sunday closing shifts and monday open shifts kronos gives out with ease to tm...
@5isc+1erjq8Ey will you ever be satisfied?
How do tms enter bathroom breaks for phone calls and tms wearing ear plugs all day for phone calls all day long, enter these into workday?
Well there are lots of problems with Kronos and the way Whole Foods utilizes it and with labor budgets and staffing guidance. According to Kronos leads, Kronos can operate in coverage mode or job/activity mode. The problem is that the switch is in the hands on global and it doesn't operate not in activity mode but coverage mode. That is why team leaders and buyers will be scheduled to work mids or overnights and not to you know be there for their job deadlines. Kronos wants to make sure all hours are covered and it doesn't care about hat your job is. It will use non overnight TM's to work overnight and not give those hours to an ON TM who won't be scheduled at all among many other random id--tic things.
i dont think Kronos itself is the issue you are talking about, but rather activity-based scheduling. anyone with a brain knows that system does not work in a setting like WFM. but, it is not about what works- its about whats easier for some people (hint: not at a store level).
Instock sop: "Dairy Buyer needs 2.5 hours of customer free time after 2 a.m. to write schedules on order days"
Kronos: "Yeah but there is no one scheduled at 1am Monday."
Logic:"No one needs to be scheduled at 1 am on Monday."
Kronos: "Yeah I'm going to just put the Dairy buyer 5pm to 1 a.m. Monday"
Logic: "That means no one will be scheduled to write the Dairy order. If you must schedule someone at this nonsensical time why not use one of the full time overnight team members so that the buyer can still perform their job at the required time?"
Kronos: "I PERFORM OVER 200 SCHEDULES A SECOND TO FIND THE ONE TRUE PERFECT SCHEDULE!"
Me: There is no one scheduled at all from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day. There also isn't anyone scheduled to receive the UNFI load.
Whole Foods: "Kronos is amazing let's give them all the money!"
TLDR: Cyber-hackers are my heroes. Please put this miserable p.o.s out of it's misery forever.
We know it's a large company that many companies use. That's like saying he---n has the third largest user base. Doesn't mean it's a good idea to use it. Kronos is a flaming garbage pile of a software. The excel sheet they are making us use now is miles ahead. The excel file we created on our own to make schedules pre Kronos was even better. The only reason Whole Foods needs Kronos is to be able to keep track of points in order to separate Tm's they don't like. Amazon has the resources to use or create a much better system.
I am willing to change my mind on Kronos if the people who are responsible for our labor budgets and entering the data into the back end of Kronos give it data that makes sense. Then maybe it could do a better job. Recently we found that it didn't even know we needed an overnight crew for load on several load days. The list of problems like that is numerous and it's usability is among the worst I've ever personally experienced in any software.
Its the largest timekeeping 3rd party system globally . Do you think its only a few companies use it?
