Any advice on dealing with Metlife for LTD? I saw a post a couple of weeks ago about Sedgwick for STD. I am about to transfer from STD to LTD and am very nervous. I have been told by others that every claim is automatically denied, they lose paperwork, don't respond to messages, etc. You have zero salary until they make a decision on your claim and nobody can tell me the time requirement for the decision. Please post what you know. Thank you.

I went through LTD with MetLife and had no issues whatsoever.
Depends on what you’re going on disability for.. mental health was a fairly simple process in my experience (a year or so ago). Can’t speak to leave due to physical disability.
