For a company that preaches the importance of diversity to us until they are blue in the face, you would think they would’ve given us a different option for the new CEO….

Despite what has been shoved down out throats, diversity is BAD. Ever hear of balkinization and see what it has done?

BS, @2aw. Companies go WAY out of their way to hire less qualified candidates based on their color and their special parts instead of their competency.
@1jaz, what's also fair which is what they are trying to achieve is to even be considered for a position which doesn't always happen. I'd never want anything given to me, but I sure as he-l would want to be considered for a position which normally I would not be considered for. Typical is, I am good for that position, I'm just not the right color or gender. That's diversity working for those who don't meet the gender of race qualifications, but are well qualified for the position.

Does anybody know anything about the new CEO? is it just going to be more of the same with layoffs, low morale, low salary, RTO, etc. or do we dare to hope this is someone that actually cares about the employees?
Giving a position to someone based on race or gender is as wrong as not giving a position to someone based on race or gender. Qualifications are what should matter. Simple and fair.

We see what diversity is doing to our country.
So, Ukraine is a country in Europe.
It exists next to another country called Russia.
Russia is a bigger country.
Russia is a powerful country.
Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine.
So, basically, that’s wrong, and it goes against everything that we stand for.
Diversity is a political and corporate smoke screen. Executives in corporations like BNY Mellon advertise their support for diversity as long as it does not impact them. Rules for thee but not for me.
Diversity is acceptable for the cruddy jobs, NOT anything good!!!!!!!!!
