BNY Mellon has been underpaying employees for years while expecting more and more each day. It's not worth it. Every bank pays more. Every single one of them. Even if you find a job with the same amount of work and the same toxic environment at least you'll be paid better for it. Know your worth and tell this place goodbye. It's not worth it to try and stick it out. It literally can't get any worse.

I left after my 10th straight 3,000 hour year in technology. It was beyond abusive. They split up my job across 4 people and knowing them, I predict will need to add more.
Obviously it depends on your skill set. I worked in Technology and had multiple offers in just a few weeks. My new job has been great. Much better environment and pay.
Where are all these jobs? Everytime I apply I’m given either a salary that’s the same as mine, barely higher, or lower. I work in data mining so maybe it’s just some areas that have these opening.
@OP I couldn't agree more: this is precisely why I quit after the start of the year. I could have put up with the added tasks and micro-managing IF my salary had been appropriately increased over the course of my time with BNYM, but it got to the point I'd rather take my chances literally ANYWHERE else than here.
I had planned not to leave until after the raises for our department were given in March, but I thought what's the point? they haven't treated us right with appropriate cost-of-living raises in the nine years I've been here so far, so why expect it now? The HIGHEST raise I ever got in that time was 2% (once) with all others 1 to 1.8%. I heard from someone still on my team that he and got a 3% raise for 2022. Well, pardon me all to He!! if I can't get too excited about a three percent raise when I'm already 25% behind what my salary should fairly be.
Good riddance.
BNY is probably 5-star heaven compared to Banco Popular. Yes, you'll find something with the same traits -- toxic environment, lack of vision or ambition -- and actually get paid less. Grass is greener.
So very true, and now is the time to make a move. Employers are willing to offer much more in compensation because they need to fill positions.
Thinking it will get better once (fill in the blank) happens is a one-way road to disappointment. It won't get better, so take care of yourself and know your worth!
