Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Layoffs and 10 x workers

If you don’t need to get laid off, just be a 10x worker. Don’t try it. Do it. Like this, coach. Make a fully reasonable goal. A fully reasoned goal is you working at 150% of what a highly motivated alpha WHITE MAN can do. This is BNY, it’s mainly white. Coach, what is a 10x employee? Ok, so you have your fully reasonable goal (150%) ? Yes Coach. So take that and multiply that by 2. Now you are a 2x worker. Also known as a piece of tu-d to a manager. 2x at 150% is about 300% of output. Coach, is that a 3x worker? No. Just 2x. So now increase your effort !!! FIVEFOLD!!!! 2x with an applied 5 fold multiplier makes you a mother f/ing dragon man !! 10 x-x. A 10 x-x employee can strut around the office with his or her ba--s on fire coach!!! You got that god damn right !! Be a 10xxx employee, or what management would call a complete and total su---r.

I believe that the My Source babble was written by Robin. I’d pay attention.

I agree that this is satire. I saw the same thing on MySource and it was the stupidest example of corporate babble I ever read !!!

This post is meant to be satirical I think. I actually saw something similar to this on MySource.

Not everyone can exceed or even meet expectations.

Sounds reasonable and in line with ‘Exceeds Expectations’, which in BNY Mellon is another way of saying ‘my manager is my best friend’.
