Been a few years and mine all long gone

Had I known that I was walking out of HQ for the last time in Feb 2020 I would have demanded all of my belongings. Unfortunately I trusted BK management.
I could sue, but I’m neither litigious nor am I money motivated. BNYM has compelled me to walk a mile, and I have walked two.
Please feel free to dispose of or to enjoy any and all of my personal property. I relinquish all of my properties and hope that my items please you as well as they have pleased me.
Uhhh…yeah. Try to keep up.
We’re talking about employees whose stuff was lost, taken, mislabeled or simply misappropriated. If you managed to get yours, congratulations.
Mine was confirmed to be lost as well. I took the high road, knowing the characters, the incompetence and the mismanagement. Sometimes you take the high road and simply walk away from toxicity and fights.
My stuff is gone and lost. Confirmed by the Bank. Put me down as completely disgusted with the ineptitude of BONY management.
The buildings have been open for quite a while now and everyone was told they could go in and collect their things. There is no excuse for complaining. Just go get your stuff. In my building people came and collected their things. Those that were laid off or are unvaccinated and aren't allowed in the building asked someone in their department to pack up their belongings for them and made arrangements to meet outside the building to collect said items. I personally packed a few people's belongings and took them outside for them. HR won't do it for you. You need to reach out to a co-worker and I'm sure you can get your stuff.
I’ve tried multiple times. I’m now pretty sure that things were just thrown out en masse.
It’s all only worth about $175 but it’s mine and I’m a bit pi---d about it to be honest.
I still have a bottle of milk in the BNY fridge for 1 year
A company has to let you get your things, or ship them to you. You really should have demanded that this happen within the first 30-60 days of leaving, if you had anything important you wanted to keep. You all seem a lot more passive about this than I have been in the past. Sometimes you basically have to become the squeaky wheel in a case like this. If the company is still in business, bug whomever you have to bug to get results. If they're active on social media, take it up there if you can't get results any other way. The optics of some big corporation bullying a former employee... that usually gets results.
I received an email survey about two months ago asking if I wanted my personal property back or not since I have been gone from the company since September. Have heard nothing since.
I’d love to know that since I have left the company…I have heard nothing.
