Even if the bonus numbers they talk about weren't misleading, I don't think "we spent more money than ever to give our employees less" is something I'd brag about.
This is the absolute worst time in the history of the bank to be have any kind of attrition risk for this group in relation to recent events.

The niche skillset he's talking about to get promoted is being buddy buddy. Notice how he didn't say if you're an excellent worker, or if you're highly educated, or obtain certifications, NOTICE he said be there with him. First honest thing out of his mouth.

Only organization I've been at that didn't provide a raise for obtaining a highly coveted industry certification. Certifications will NOT get you promoted. Technical know how will not get you promoted. ONLY path to promotions are being good with SLT.

Reviews are a worthless joke.
Promotions are based on favoritism.
RTO has nothing to do with performance or working better together.
