Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

These kinds of raises are not even close to enough.

I recently got a 3% raise. If times were normal I guess I would have been happy, but with this kind of inflation even with the raise I live worse than I used to.
What pi---d me off was my manager, who portrayed the raise as something big and something that I should be thankful to the company for. This is not nearly enough. We all should have had our incomes adjusted to the rise of living costs.

Totally agree. Comp is a joke. And further insulted with continued Peakon survey questions like, "I can have a constructive conversation about pay with my manager". If anyone is giving a score above 0, get your head examined....not that anything is done with the surveys. Just another aspect of keeping up the appearance that senior management cares

I got 2% & it was presented as if it was something good because I got 1.5% last year.
I make less each year I stay.
It’s my fault for staying. BUT I’ve been adjusting my effort to keep up w/ the cr---y raises
