BofA is fostering a culture of staff being expendable no matter how hard they work and managers being kings who can do no wrong. Nobody who has options is going to stick around in these conditions, that's why so many employees are walking out and so many more are looking to do the same thing. This combined with RTO-related attrition is going to cripple the company.

I was a contractor twice at BOA and felt like I had more job security than FTE’s. That’s how many layoffs of FTE’s I saw.
Sure they could let me go at anytime as a contractor, but I knew I was cheaper and that’s what they like. I was never let go either.
I have witnessed the azz kissing here at BOA for years. I have seen illiterate mutherfuhkers get management positions. This is the only company I have been at where this happens a lot. We have managers here that hold conference calls and nobody understands anything he says. This company is azz backwards. The CEO is a buffoon and only cares about his azz. I really don't care about this shlithole anymore . I just show up an do as little as possible.
News to me. Been a manager for years too. It’s the same old kiss bu** game. Doesn’t matter what your title is. As long as you drink the kool aid and fit in their box. You don’t even have to have experience.
Managers are treated like royalty? News to me as a manager. Doesn't mean there aren't entitled managers out there, but there are also entitled employees. Most managers are getting hit from both above and below.
I was a B4 manager until 2022.
I tried to live all the values Brian Moynihan talks about. Outstanding employee survey results, some of the lowest attrition numbers in the entire org, teams always delivered well, built a strong leadership team under me.
Passed over for SVP 4 years in a row while watching people who kissed up to execs get promoted even as their KPI's were a complete mess and attrition was through the roof.
You don't get promoted for doing a good job, you get promoted because the friends of your boss like you. I didn't spend my time doing bu-t kissing tours and focused on being a good leader.
When the new boss passed me over as well and I saw 3 more low performers get it I decided I was done with that game. Now in a place where I might actually get executive level without kissing someone's rear for another 4 years.
