@OP Have to think that you’re already more on the displaced for cause list than the layoff list.
Why even waste the energy, just jump to new job. You will be a noob and fresh and can start all over.
Under promise and under deliver, it's the way to go!
Guys, we all play by the nasty rule, be slow underneath, and pretend try to work fast on the surface, and intentionally blow up passwords and run background software to drag down the internet speed. These are all doable, I won't do it that obviously to my manager. I do it in the background to burn him out.
You will probably just get fired with no severance payments. If you pay attention, you will see this is what we are doing now.
You will end up burning bridges you may need in the future - the world goes around.
Just get a new job and leave for something much better.
