Because of excessive number of managers, global markets is hiring too many people and will lower productivity and hurt profitability

To be fair, a lot of the hiring problems are due to decisions from the very top.
Talent with any decent experience has a boatload of employment options...who is going to jump at a BOfA offer with all the WFH or at very least hybrid employers eager to employ them?
People with no experience can get a couple of years in at the bank and then jump to a more reasonable employer
Again, this is a azz backwards company. This is the worst company I have ever worked for in my life. I have worked for companies that promoted you for your achievements. This company promotes mo--ns from the blockhead CEO on down. If you are clueless, kiss azz and don't know what the fcuk you are doing then you are promoted.
