Informal PIP at Mid-Year, but Met Expectations at Year-End

Received informal PIP at mid-year, confronted manager and filed a complaint with HR, with proof. Received met expectations at year end. Now manager says I am supposedly being lined up for a new gig to work with new team. What are the chances im to be riffed?

Sounds like you were lucky. I had an “informal” PIP at my mid-year. They are so formulaic it’s beyond ridiculous. When I reached out, HR didn’t know what I was talking about. They said there is no such thing as an informal PIP. I got let go at the end of the year. Best thing that ever happened to me. There is a big world beyond those 4 miserable walls.

That just shows you improved like you were supposed too. You should be fine as long as they dont let go of the whole area you’re in.

If it quacks and has webbed feet, chances are it's a duck.
