Thread regarding Paychex Inc. layoffs

Future possible layoffs if not in an office area?

I have a sinking feeling that full time RTO will be mandated once paycor acquisition is fully laid out. I think they plan on utilizing their current offices as extra leverage to force RTO for people that didn’t have an office to go to prior, and layoff anyone that in an office area. Anyone else thinking this?

Paycor’s new office doesn’t have nearly enough space to force their Cincy employees to RTO, and half of their employees are nationwide.

If they RTO, they are going to have to lay off most of their employees or take back their old HQ

Cuts started today, will probably linger thru the rest of the month

Does anyone know what’s going on? Management’s whole demeanor has been so disheartening.

I’m concerned how that would work for employees who were sent to WFH due to an office closure. I was one of many employees whose office closed last summer. Would my job be in jeopardy as well if RTO is required?

I don't know if this helps, but Paycor only has a physical office in Cincinnati. So, hopefully the acquisition won't force RTO. Though it's just a rumor, I believe the official announcement will be at the end of this month. I hope we know more after that.
