The last two years at Mutual of America Financial Group have been absolutely gut wrenching. The sneak attack firings of 250 people and how it was done was shameful. Most Executives and VPs keep their jobs, large deferred comp plans, and huge golden parachute pensions. Meanwhile, many are still suffering without hope or jobs. As Valentines Day approaches, many of us who are still fortunate enough to walk the halls at Mutual Of America, want to tell you that you are loved and appreciated. And even though the CHRO may have difficulties coming into work each day, with a $500K a year job, it pales in comparison to many of you who have no job to come to each day. Don't give up hope. Things will get better. And we are all praying for you. Thank you.
