I’ll be the first to admit the job itself isn’t terrible. The team is solid and the paycheck is decent. But when you’re always picking up the slack for unfilled roles because they refuse to replace anyone, it wears you down. After years of this, I’m at my limit. At this point, even the risk of walking away feels better than staying.

At this point it seems like overtime is essentially mandatory to keep our group afloat, not even a year ago this wasn’t an issue for my group.
