How many of these same threads are people going to post? It's clear that there is an agenda because they are ALL THE SAME.

@1km yes you said it ‘if you get the chance run’ - reality will hit when you try to run, then maybe you’ll realise where the problem actually lies!

@1km yes all those armchair keyboard warriors are so highly skilled and just poor luck they can’t move on….. c’mon we all know why you are still complaining and not moving on! It’s not rocket science! Those who can do and those who can’t complain. Simple as!

Like any toxic relationship Allstate wants you to believe you couldn’t do any better than here. As if they are the decision maker of your skills and abilities value in the employment marketplace. If you get the chance run, once you look back you will see how downright disturbing the culture is here!

@f1 yeah, For sure you are right on the money! those that are serious about their career don’t spend 10 years complaining about their situation they go out and find themselves a new role where they are happy. Those who continue to whine and feel entitled are the same folks who have zero intention of ever leaving? Why because they either don’t have the skills or are too afraid to leave, likely because they wouldn’t survive in another company!

This is sad. I worked for this company for a long time. I do believe your experience depends on where you are and things have changed. They always change but it should be to improve and not at expense of employee experience. I loved working at Allstate and it was such a reward to be selected to be part of the Allstate team. It is sad to see experience now.

@f1 I kind of get what the poster is saying. Why not if the time was already invested and if in an area where no one gives a flip then stick around for an easy check and maybe a decent sized package? Can't fault the person.

I for one have been with the company for quite the long time and decided to milk it until they pay me to leave. Why start over elsewhere when you can half a-s it and collect a check and maybe they pay you to leave? There is no such thing as a career anymore in today's day and age and very little loyalty by leadership in most any field.

No one in this three ring circus cares at all. Everyone laughs and jokes behind the scenes about how absolutely terrible and mismanaged this company is. Most just go through the basic motions for a paycheck. There is no use in even trying to better processes and how things are done because the clueless nimrods at the top already implement their failed products and processes before getting any input from anyone else. So there is no need at all to worry and stress about anything. Log in, do the minimum, log out, and enjoy life! Look at it as a sitcom that you are living in if that helps...because really that is all Allstate really is anymore. Kind of a sad combination of Office Space and Superstore but with less intelligence exhibited.

Been here too long to walk away - translation - I don’t have the skills or the courage to find something new! You know it’s true lol!

I have been "quiet quitting" for about 2 years now. Life has improved a lot for me as well after deciding to go that route. No more stress and still get that sweet deposit in my account every two weeks. Just doing what I have to in order to not get released for cause.

My peers are insufferable brown nosers who pick up my slack without ever complaining. They think our walking sewer of a leader will bestow upon them annual riches of merit...but it never happens LOL.

Sure I get coached up some but a little smile and nod during those, a middle finger when they turn off the virtual camera, and back to the minimum.

Been here too long to just walk away. Can get about a year's severance plus unemployment in my state if and when they RIF us. And for my area the writing is on the wall. Just wish they'd hurry it up and give me those papers to sign. :)
