Thread regarding US Foods layoffs

Cinci

Well, now we are the epicenter of attention. And I don't feel good about how they are handling what happened here with our su-k a-s safety and security bosses. My friend in corporate called me already and she knew about it so I am guessing you all do. Things like this happen but we are not confident the corporate teams can address this. HR and our managers are trying but everyone knows safety and security is not good and definitely not trusted. Pray for us!

Same ole sh-t in Montgomery. They put up detectors for g-ns but they don’t use them right. And with doors and bay doors, sh-t flow in and out any ole ways. Motha fu----s still don’t get it. Then, we still roll up to work and forget to take sh-t out of our pockets and the detector be going off and they don’t pay no mind. Now we have some health wall mold problem and they play us for su-kas and be telling us it is just them going to fix up the office to make it nicer looking when we know what the real deal is. But at least they dealing with that quickly and we trust them. But security is still a motha fu--ing joke. They sent that security fool down here 2 or 3 times but he don’t know what to do.. it’s a damn shame. We ready ourselves though and some workers be having they things inside in case something go down again. New VPO cool but he won’t be staying here long. They hired someone as new VPO and they was gone in a week back to where they came. They know how fu---d up sh-t is here.

My friend works in a different us foods warehouse and it is the same there. They play hide the wiener. We don’t have an anti violence plan. We just minimize sh-t until something happens. Look at the Montgomery posts below. If anyone from Montgomery is reading this post, are things better there after people almost died?

It’s how they roll here. Keep everything hidden and tell people everything is good when it ain’t. Is it our market only or is this a US Foods thing everywhere?

They always make it seem like it isn’t a big fu--ing deal. Well guess what? It is to us. Stop excusing bad behavior and fire people that threaten others and watch the bullsh-t go away. We are fu--ing scared ok?

You got it. They care more about the selection and shipping than us. If he does return and does something stupid, I will ill be the first to bring lawsuit. This is fu---d. My old company didn’t put up with this bullsh-t.

This proves the report card on the previous post was right. Look at the grades and then this happens and proves them right. Violence in the place, security, and legal had sh-t scores. Cinci and Montgomery are your proof

Welcome to US Foods! This happens many times a year and all they get is a slap in the hand. It is the US Foods way. And they wonder why this sh-t keeps happening over and over and over. They don't fu--ing know what they are doing. It will take someone to die before they take our safety seriously.

The Montgomery associates should sue because the shooting was so traumatic that they are afraid to work again. If someone does that and takes it to court, they will get PAID for life. Why you ask? The posts below said they did had work violence in place many times and they didn't do anything seriously until someone shot at someone. i spoke to my friend in HR and they say this happens every year at many US Foods locations all of the time and HR is told what to do by security and legal. They are putting us all in danger. My husband's company doesn't put up with this. Why are two of our most important departments this bad?

@b2 It was much of the same. Our regular psycho said inexcusable things to a team member AGAIN to make them fear for their life. It is not done!!!!!!!! It was swept under the rug again and we are all sure we will see him back here again. It's frightening actually.

Don't worry about anything here. It is done. It is not anything that's a big deal.
