Let me rephrase that, I don't give a flying fu-k about IBM and whether I'm going to be kicked out or not. I'm too old to worry about the things I can't change and I'm also experienced enough to know I'll be okay no matter what happens. I can find another job. IBM will never be able to replace the institutional knowledge they are losing by getting rid of my generation. I'm not the one who's going to be at the losing end here.

If an AI replaces programmers, it will have most likely already replaced your position as well, possibly several years prior. You're praying for your own doom when you say that sort of thing.
