My SVP told me 1k employees will be RIF’d and 1k will transfer out.
There will be a phased approached to more in 3 months time when transition has completed and more expected then

@a8 You will get to train your offshore replacement. I am in the same boat. I will treat that training just as well as FIS treated me. So great decision S Ferris, Kelly B and their brain.. McKinsey Consulting. They will cash in and be gone with millions. Someone else will have to try and save the FIS Titanic.
@a8 Same here. My team of 6 is now a team of 4. There were 2 of us that were RIF’D as we were the newest on the team. This entire process was utterly mishandled from the moment the initial invite went out. To leave us hanging overnight without the slightest clue of what was to come this morning - then to leave us hanging again after this morning’s joke of a meeting was an insult to all of us. NOT at all the respect and dignity they said they would show those of us that have been affected. We are real people with livelihoods that are being affected by these decisions. We matter. We work hard - every day for the company that told us how well we were doing week after week. How valued we were for the work we were doing. Were we? I hope those that made it through today are treated better than those of us that didn’t. Unfortunately I don’t see that happening.

I was a part of the PS Department (US) that was RIF’d.. I thought I was safe after this morning’s call. Nope jk, my manager scheduled a meeting hours later to tell me that my position was eliminated. At least it’s not immediate termination, my final date is in approx 3 months.
@a4 i am in PS and it is not true they are rebadging all PS. There are a some employees that were rebadged bit definitely not all.
That's huge. It's all onshore too. They're rebadging all of professional services to Cognizant. Company wide departments impacted are tech, CIO, Dev, and PS.
