Joined as a contractor earlier this year and was just let go. Was told it’s a reduction in workforce. I joined because it was a one year contract and they sold me on being converted 6 months down the line. Devastating but life goes on. Just another day in corporate America

@d5 It's because earnings are being released next Wednesday and this signals that the numbers are going to su-k so we'll claim that projections for the next quarter look good and that we're paying a higher dividend. We su-k.
What team were you on?
That was big in operations, upper management leading everyone on like that only then to be told we had to let people go.
