@OP Having burned the entire HR budget on AI vaporware and out-sourcing to a "talent" (lol) company, they've lost about 30% of their core staff. Of course, that was the best paid 30%, of course. Stephanie did a mail-order diploma in business - she knows the old guys are just expensive for no reason. They're no match for her giant business brain. So FIS dumped the expensive ones... which, it turns out were the competent ones. They didn't shed the useless ones who mindlessly shuffle service now requests, but the ones who cost a lot because they had the capacity for rational thought and 20 years of client specific knowledge and experience. Who needs those guys?! Artificial Id--ts commanded by Business Id--ts can do their jobs, can't they? If only the Business Id--ts knew what those guys did... "ChatGPT, how do you run a bank?". So, basically, there is nobody left who knows how anything works and, when the penny finally drops with the clients that Ferris and her troupe of corporate id--ts have gutted the teams who meet their contractual obligations, FIS is toast. Even the shareholders - poor sheep-brained fools that they are - have begun to catch the whiff of bullsh-t in the bullishness.
Anger Issues? How's that working for you?
@OP It is a complete sh!tshow. Make sure you do just enough and do not put in any extra time. It's not worth it, "shut down and check out" at the end of the day.
