Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

I'm so tired of all the negativity

I'm honestly curious what better company you think exists where you'd have job security and leadership that "loves" employees. Please, share with the class.

@183 yes! I left for a 25% raise, PTO carries over, 40 hour work weeks with same flexibility of WFH. Trust me, in this case, the grass is greener on the other side.

Let me be nice with my response and be real. I was a L10 at PepsiCo. I left late last year.

  1. Got a 33% raise.
  2. I work 40 hr weeks (not 70 at PepsiCo).
  3. Senior Leadership encourages team efforts. Not individuals as it’ll be called out as bad.
  4. Leadership gives credit to those that do hard work and not take the credit.
  5. Your PTO can carryover to the next year.
  6. We can order food and go to restaurants that sell Coke. FINALLY
  7. We don’t have bobble heads in leadership positions.
  8. We’ve never had a layoff in the company 89 yr history.

You must be a member of leadership, preaching the BS of love. We’re all just a number to you now.

I strongly encourage young people to start their own businesses as soon as possible. They might want to gain some experience working for a small to large company before taking the plunge. The most financially successful people I know all started their own businesses. Their hard work and dedication paid off, and who knows, they might even become the next trillionaire if that’s their goal. On the other hand, at PepsiCo, you get a meager pay increase for your valuable work and long hours, while the sycophant with little knowledge and performance is promoted.

Family business, for sure. Wish I had started one.

If you want positivity, don't come to a discussion board called TheLayoff. Watch a townhall instead. LMAO
