Can someone recommend an employment lawyer to help with severance issue? Preferably from past experience.

It also doesn't hurt to simply Google employee-side employment lawyer.
Any lawyers who have an "other clients" section on their website do Not have the "other clients' " issues as their main specialty or practice.
You can also Google their names and see what type of cases they worked on.
Would you retain a Criminal Law lawyer who occasionally does Real Estate work, when you need a Real Estate lawyer??
If yes, this is sheer foolishness and I have a bridge to sell you.

Probably the lawyer himself posted his own free advertisement.
His practice is ONLY for employees in colleges, universities And higher education in general. Not employees in corporate companies or non-profit companies.
