I seriously just got a call from a recruiter asking me if I was job hunting. I said yes. He said the job was as a clinical review nurse for Centene! WTF?!! We fighting got our lives here and they already looking to replace us with temps!

@g2 that’s nice to know. My coworker brought this up today and I said that can’t be true but looks like it is. I started as a contractor.

Yep I got hit up on LinkedIn From a recruiter offering me my same job at Centene but a CONTRACT role, they’re laying us off and gonna hire people back for cheaper
Yep I got several offers for positions on LinkedIn. I told my co-workers because they deserve to know we’re being lied to and they’re looking to replace our labor for cheaper. Centene su-ks and was the worst thing to happen to our company.
@b9 Please be careful of fake recruiters on LinkedIn. The scammers are on there as well.
@ac What hiring freeze? Oh you mean the one where only FTE are frozen out of applying for any internal positions that are not top heavy and bloated? If you mean that hiring freeze than you are 100% correct there is a hiring freeze. Otherwise most if not all positions will be offshored or contracted out and let's not forget replaced by the almighty make the C-Suite richer AI or rather dirt poor by the time this whole fiasco comes full circle.
I got an email last week from a recruiter on LinkedIn and they asked if I'd be interested in a Care Coordinator position. I told them I already work at Centene. They'd know that if they looked at my profile. I told my husband I wondered if they're replacing people for less money by using temp services. Unreal. I thought maybe it was just a fluke until I read your post.

@a2 wth?! They are getting raid of us so they can basically start over paying lower wages and no insurance costs! Disgusting! And people supposed to believe they care about the patients? They don’t care about their own staff.
Yep I was just asked by my boss to be a "buddy" for a new temp that is starting soon. Making me train somebody to take my job. These people the worst.
